The chick from the Alabama shakes, gets in a 3-way with Jamiroquai down on Sunset Strip with Divine Brown, and out comes this musical abortion.

Pretty ok, no worse than any of the other shit out there.

I've just about had it though with these Meghan Trainor style vocals, all sharp and over-punctuated. Any decent soundman would throw a sock over that mic to prevent her from popping her P's.

Not bad. Well done, but rather predictable. Vocalist is competent for that genre; but a bit too affected for my tastes.

It's hard to make an assessment off of a YouTube upload but: Sounds like it was mostly done on a DAWS by someone who didn't really know a lot about EQ and compression. Lots of mud in the mix; particularly that bass line, which sounds like it was done on a stock plug in with a MIDI controller. :grad:

I never got why that was so great. I think I only went to see it because Rowan Atkinson was the priest.

It always unnerves me when you have something that is so over produced with top of the line equipment come out so soulless and devoid of energy.
Music recorded on the a cellphone by someone with energy sounds better than this imo.
