is this game of thrones? I'm not up on the new shows.
He doesn't look all that sharp anyway, I'm not talking about his pointed head.
And Tucker is still digging his hole.
I have to say, upon reflection Breaking Bad is now my official #1 TV show ever, having surpassed The Sopranos with these last 16 eps.
Hank said he'd be back in a minute. He had one more thing to do.
It surpassed "The Sopranos" long before that, m'friend.
"Breaking Bad" is superior to "The Sopranos" in every way. There's a TON of bad/cartoony acting, bad writing, inane plot-lines, and a few massive plot holes in "The Sopranos", which was pretty much a dead man walking after season 4, iirc. The Joey Pants season was just ok, and then it basically went to shit.
Chase just didn't know how to handle success or expectations. He tried to "film school" it to hide the simple fact that he ran out of story.
There was none of that in "Breaking Bad": it was tight, well-written, with "very good" to "downright epic" acting across the board. And it only got better as the seasons went on, with a relentless yet methodical "out of the frying pan into the fire" nature to the proceedings.
There was NONE of that kind of tension in "The Sopranos". Not even in the early days, I don't think, and definitely not in the last 4 seasons; you knew what was coming, who HAD to be killed, but they'd stop off and spend some time with Tony's family or some nonsensical side-nonsense.
