Howard said today that this song reminds him of a woman in his life and he can cry thinking about it. He regrets or is sad about something.

    Wonder if it's Alison.

Thanks for clicking this god awful thread. No replies necessary. Let it die.

This is like a throw away song/band from the 90s and it's better than anything put on top 40 radio in years imo.

It was a hit but there were plenty of 90s rock #1 hit wonders that got played more. I know because I listened to alt rock radio a lot back then. Mtv played it but I dont remember seeing it as much as you think.

Knowing that Howchie likes this song makes me like it a whole lot less.

Not sure if you listen these days, but it didn't sound like it. I'm guessing Alison or a daughter.

Pretty sure they played that song live in studio, remember seeing it on the E! Show. Always liked that song, one hit wonders though.

Nah, Kid Rock had a couple of good songs since then. And American Idiot was a good song in 2004

    Can you see the light?
    Can you hear the sound?
Can you feel this whole world turning around?

Fucking loved that movie and song when he's revealed in the mirror at the end.

Wonder if it's on Netflix :bigthink:

I haven't listened in quite a while. That being said I stand by my earlier comment. I don't think he cares enough about his ex-wife or his daughters to cry. Conversely we know he obsesses over songs about mothers such as the one by John Lennon and the one by Pink Floyd
