Ever stop and have you & your car weighed ?
I've stopped when I was driving a rental van going across state lines ... was waived through.
My grandfather was a trucker, he hated "those fucking guys"
On route to the aeroport , it's a good idea to stop and have luggage weighed
All the time
Or before shipping a large package.
I go across scales several times a week, did you know trucks can only have so much weight on certain axles.
My truck is allowed 12,500 pounds on steering axle
34,000 pounds on the drive axles
My trailer has two single axles that are allowed 20,000 pounds each.
Best to check your weights if going across a scale otherwise IDGAD
Ever take side roads to avoid the highway weigh stations ?
I work on the docks. I know what happens when a load isn't balanced.
Oh , Johnny use to work at the docks . Gina at a diner at night .
Sometimes, I've blown past open scales on accident, never been chased down I also have been overloaded several thousand pounds on an axle once, plus inspections finding broken leafsprings/air leaks brakes out of adjustment (By law I cannot touch/adjust them need to be certified) they do a good job keeping junk off the road that has potential to kill.
Easy dude I know you are kinda vapid when it comes to showing where you work.
On the way out of a scrap yard.
I do right before and then immediately after I poop. The weigh station guys get a kick out of it.
They have trucks today that have on board scales.
I'm not getting on your stupid weigh machine.
