Which do you prefer?
is this a dishwashing question?
both have different benefits. but i tend to lean to hydroponics
soil. much more forgiving than hydro and less hassel. some dummies actually think that hydro grown pot is somehow stronger than the same genetics grown in soil.
It is just harder to grow lol
I lost a whole crop, 14 plants, because I screwed up the ferts in my bubbling bucket setups. the plants were huge. they were beautiful, 10 hours later they were dead. they looked like someone took a torch to them. all brown and crinkled. that was my last hydro grow. soil is for stoners. I can fuck up a grow 10 times and still get a good yield.
So being able to control the growing environment and saturating the plant with nutrients throughout the grow cycle, as well as controlling the light cycles doesn't produce a better plant?
My new dispensary is selling 'teen' clippings.
If I were to put it into a pot, would it work for growing? Could I bring it inside and outside as needed?
They have 20 dollar 'teen' clippings and 15 dollar 'pre teen'.
oh no, they'll grow big bushes. what I said was that given the same clones, some people think that the thc etc. content of the plants will be greater and so the high will be better. which of course is bullshit.
wtf is a "teen" clipping? probably means small clones, which is fine. clones grow like weeds. give them some good soil (fox farm has good stuff for clones and for mature plants) and they'll do fine being indoors and out.
You mean they didn't drug test you for this very serious and important job of yours?
greedy fucks. sounds like they are trimming the plants and sellng whatever they can clone. like stuff that would normally be tossed as being to small. capitalism at it's finest.
I understand now.
Did I ask you about Pre-91 Chem Dawg?
Do you know what THC levels to expect when growing? Have you ever tested your crops?
if it's really pre-91 chem it's a decent genetic. chem dawg got busted and rolled over on some folks. no honor among thieves. I was growing when folks like him and subcool and all the other rip off artists were asking how to grow and begging for freebie seeds. many tests for thc are not very good and I have never cared. I purchase seeds based on comments by other buyers. I've come to the conculsion that THC is one component of a great high. a major one but far from the only one. a study showed that thc was highest when the trichomes were still clear. NObody loves this high and most of us don't harvest until the trichs are cloudy to amber. it's a whole thing.
I have 2 dispensaries within less than 2 blocks.
One of them is a pretty much dirtbag operation, and they have issues with their neighbors that have made the local media. I have gone in a few times, it's closer than the other one, and I inquired about testing of the product. The guy who runs the place looks back and starts to chuckle that he doesnt' need to test, he can tell by smoking. I ended up just using the place for 20/g hash from time to time.
Then I went into the other dispensary last week. Whole different environment. Professional operation. Plus they had like 4 smoking hot chicks working as bud-tenders. They had these clippings up on a shelf in the corner. I contemplated for a moment, and what I should do is hook up with Easy Jesus so he can help me out.
This new dispensary is selling oz's for up to 480. They also had about 7 strains that they were selling for 200/oz, and I picked up 3 of those strains (200/oz), and I'm pretty pleased with the purchase.
The professional dispensary also tested their product, and the 480/oz were 29.7 thc.
