He pulled up next to me in the store parking lot, it was such a rarity that when he got out I said 'You're listening to Stern? wow we must be the last 2 remaining fans listening' but he disagreed with me..said he still likes the show and that was the extent of our conversation.
I wonder if he posts on SFN.

    Cool story bro!

    Anyone similar stories?

A few years ago I was at Applebees picking up an order to go. I was waiting at the bar when I overheard two colored fellows talking about the show. They were discussing a bit from earlier in the day and they couldn't remember KOAB's name. I was thinking about saying "King of all Blacks" but it might have been a little weird for the people around us. Aside from that, there was one other time when Artie was quickly brought up in class but that was it.

I have never known anybody who listens, even in the good old days when I first got the sirius.

I wish I could find other Stern listeners. I would be as happy as a hungry baby at a topless bar.

I used to feel that way right after the move. It was hard enough finding others with Sirius. Id give a friend my streaming password just so i could discuss the funny stuff with him. Then Sirius picked up steam and started showing up in new cars. Problem was, the show was already on the decline. Most people I talked to didn't listen to Howard. After about a year, my friend was using my account to listen to other stuff. I haven't even bothered asking anyone about Howard for several years. I've never come across anyone listening to him.

How many other people where in the car? Listening to Howard is a communal experience, so he must have had 2-3 other people with him, right?

A few days ago I was in my local Kmart putting a down payment on some plastic lawn gnomes I have on layaway and I bumped into a guy with a Sirius t-shirt. I said "hey, you listen to Howard, huh?" He said "Howard who?" I said "Howard Stern." He said "never heard of him, this shirt was free down at the shelter. I'm homeless and club-fuckin' footed, you asshole!"

    True story.

I gave the people in the office my streaming password, so I would be able to talk about the show when I came in from the field. After Artie left, nobody listens where I work. This is why I started reading SFN. I was in a customers office about a week ago and they had one of those 1\9\06 colored promotional posters (I would have killed for that once upon a time) and I mentioned the show and she was sort of meh. She asked what ever happened to Artie and I told her the website for the Nick and Artie show and she emailed her husband about it on the spot. Also told her about DAWGS and she looked it up on her computer and was laughing at some of the thread titles.
