I scored a MAJOR win today, on the weapon front! I picked-up a 1989 Sig Sauer P226, a 1989-Herndon! German made, and sold by SIGARMS INC. of Herndon, VA. (before production of Sigs moved from Germany to Exeter, NH)...it's a fucking classic combat weapon, that's been sitting in a cop's safe for the last 20 years! He bought it, and then didn't trust the 9mm ammo back then as "duty-worthy." It's been fired fewer than 100 times...kinda like the same amount Daveindiego's gotten laid! I've had my heart set on a German P226 for at least a month, then a friend let me know about his friend selling an "old gun"...and the rest is history! This is instantly a family heirloom, and a pistol I shall own for the remainder of my days! The P226 is based on the P220 (the first pistol that launched the ultra-successful P-series of arms), and the P226 is still used by the Navy Seals to this day! In 9mm, this baby sports a standard 15 round magazine, giving it a 15+1 capacity...totally fucking awesome! It's a DA/SA weapon, without a safety; the first shot is double-action at a trigger pull of @ 10 pounds, followed by subsequent single-action shots at @ 4.5 pounds. It has a dedicated decocker, that allows the user to return the pistol from single-action back to the heavy pull of double-action, which is why a safety would be redundant. The Herndon P226s are widely considered the best "off the shelf" pistols Sig Sauer have ever produced! The triggers are fucking amazing, especially in SA! This will be a safe-queen no longer, as I'm going to shoot the tits off this dirty fucking girl! I am VERY fucking stoked! BTW, @Mack and @Danas Boyfrien were right...nobody can buy just one pistol!
