I generally like IPAs, never had that one though.
How was it?
Goatcabin does that every morning.
I have tried that one. Had to pick up my beer diary to see what I thought of it. I wrote that it was a decent IPA, not very aromatic or flavorful but good.
Now that you are enjoying craft beers you have to venture out from the IPAs.
I went to the Irish Pub and had that burger tonight and finished it off with a couple black and tans.
They are taking away my coors light in MN. A bunch of bullshit!
Be the best thing to happen to you guys since they took away those child molesting Northstars.
Now we can't be friends.
What's up with that?
It is delish.
I work with what I have. Give me a break.
Oh and I told you that lemon beer was just nasty.
Was it the coors or Northstars comment? Can't believe you guys lost your team to a bunch of cow fuckers. What's up with that?
Black and tan isn't a lemon beer. That would be a hefeweizen (w is pronouced v) and they put lemon in it, most of the time afterwards. Still nasty. Then they do it with limes in Corona but that started because they would clean the glass with lime (they aren't big on sanitation in Mexico) and they would then put the used lime wedge in the bottle to keep out bugs.
The stupid government shutdown. And I'm not even home to stock up!
I didn't say the black and tan was a lemon beer. I was saying that the one of the growlers I tasted was a lemon beer. Which I passed on. Half the price of the ipa. I was like what are you pushing on me here.
Awesome Bo. I went to a Micro-brew in Bethehem, PA the other week that had GREAT beer. They offered take out Growlers, but I balked. Imma go back and get one I think. This place had unreal beer.
the idea of a growler i think is that you bring the bottle back for a refill. So if it's so far away then I'd pass.
You can get 6+ at a clip. Go there, get a "sampler" like I did and tasted a few others. Then you figure out what ya want. They have 4 regulars and 4 seasonal. The IPA and ESB were unreal.
I know you said you liked Chicago so if you come back for training you have to go to Goose Island. Absolutely top notch beer, great food at their two brewpubs. Like hooters' food but better. If you get to a beer superstore look for them. They have an IPA but their vintage ales and their especially their vintage reserve ales are world class.
If they garnish your hefeweizen with lemon they're doing it wrong, it should be orange. That lime to clean glasses for mexican beer is also false.
If you believe snopes it is undetermined and Corona hasn't answered them.
