Trouble with the Curve
Sounds like a movie about dying.
I can't wait to see it! Clint is my favorite actor of all time. But it's sad to see him not-hot-anymore with the old man pants up against his moobs. I call them wonder pants.
now all he plays is an old man
Clint never sold out like Pacino and Deniro. He made those chimp movies back in the 80's - I was a kid. LOVED them. Right turn Clyde! Actually bought a shirt that says that, ha
His westerns were the shit. Then I lost interest until he did Gran Torino.
LMAO! I saw "Every Which Way But Loose" 3x times in the theater when I was a kid cuz I loved him kickin' ass shirtless!
My dad was a Clint guy, not a John Wayne guy, so we watched all the spaghetti westerns. "The Beguiled" was dirty for its time...my older sisters told me not to let our mom see me watching it. Christ, he was hotttttttt in that one. Don't get me started on the Dirty Harry series. (swoon)
I thought Bridges of Madison County was his worst movie.
Not only his worst movie, the worst movie ever.
Those fight scenes were epic.
actually it's a tie with Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964)
Clint is a Champ!
i avoid meryl streep movies, cagney & lacey, murder she wrote & julia roberts....all things dykie, cuntie, man hatey & never hottie...
I avoid streep and 70's TV shows too
His wife and daughters had a reality show this summer...good God now I know why he was away making movies most of the time. Daughter Francesca is 18 going on 35 and is shacked up with some photographer guy who is at least 10 years, if not more, older than her and daughter with current wife is 15 going on 25. Wife is a neurotic hyperactive hoarder who manages a boy band...when Clint made an appearance on the show he had a look of "why am I here?" and "who are these people?". He looked tired and out of it most of the time.
I absolutely loved clints westerns and the dirty harry series of films. I think I watch 'the unforgiven' about 5 times with my dad. My dad,who is such a clint eastwood fan, that one time some kids of throwing eggs at the house,he walked out there and actually talked liked clint and called them 'punks'.
I would only say, with his recenter films, million dollar baby and to a lesser extent grand tourino ,I disliked the ending. For instance million dollar baby it was all about clint building up this boxer from the beginning, she does really well but the film finishes with her in a coma and clint her trainer putting her out of her misery. It was a great film up until that point, this may be dramatic but it was like an artist making a great painting and then dropping their trousers and shitting all over it. I understand that some in hollywood are sensitive to the criticism about their films always having a happy ending,so the ending must be edgy and not always a good one,but there is taking it to extremes.
Every Which Way But Loose is the first movie I remember going to see when I was a little kid. I recall throwing a fit with my Mom because I wanted to see the monkey and Clint knock people out. I had no clue who Eastwood was (I was 3 or 4) but I knew I wanted to see the movie...so she took me to a matinee, I can't believe I even remember it, but I do.
