Pouring rain, super shitty weather. Driving home in the daily big-ass traffic jam. I see a broken down Smart car standing with blinkers on in the middle of the road. That's one of these little cars: Cars and trucks are driving past it left and right. I hesitate for a second and park my car on the side and walk over. I find a woman in her thirties in the car who doesn't know what do do and is kinda frozen/panicked. She was pretty cute. I offer her to push the car out of the road with heavy traffic. She looks at me like I'm a knight in shining armor. She asks my name and I just tell her my name is Dick. She shakes my hand and thanks me and almost hugs me. I push the car a 150 feet or so around a corner, out of the road and out of hazard's way. After this, I'm soaking wet and out of wind, but I'm her hero for today. I didn't even try to ask for a number or something, this made me feel good enough. Shit, I forgot how great it feels to help someone out for no reason and just be friendly. Peace 'n love... peace 'n love.
