good to hear you survived your surgical ordeal
Not interested. And I'm a big Maynard fan.
thanks buddy! finally starting to feel normal except for some weird body/skin numbness and distorted taste sense.
i''m not a big maynard fan either. but he does this song really well. and the flaming lips rule.
What happened? Apologies for being out of the loop.
About the song....not moving me at all and I absolutely love the original.
it was nothing huge...had surgery and had a bad reaction to being under anesthesia. was in the hospital for a few days absolutely hating life. better now.
Well, I'm very happy that the gender reassignment surgery was an overall success, my friend.
I am a big Maynard fan. Flaming lips bore me though.
Flaming lips are a band people that want to be cool say they like. Like Lou reed.
Maynard was on Rogan's podcast saying how he would've excelled in the military/combat because he "knows some people who are in"
that's quite an extrapolation of his ability
I absolutely have a genuine love of Lou Reed that started when I was a kid. Its not posturing at all.
As far as The Flaming Lips go, they are too a band I discovered early on. I like them alright, but they aren't remotely one of my favorites. Though I do think Wayne Coyne is super-handsome.
He went to West Point, didn't he? That's pretty frikkin' prestigious.
I don't find this surprising.
Pretty sure Maynard was military.
didn't know this. the way he phrased it during the interview was like he wasn't
ever in the military
anyway….I'm a Tool fan
He was in the Army and trained as a forward observer. Then he attended West Point preparatory school. He left the military before attending West Point.
