Anyone catch Stern making that crack about John Travolta during the discussion with Joan Rivers.

The irony was good for a solid laugh on this end, the first real laugh in some time, aside maybe from mondays show where Fred had me howling when he played the "moooh" when Robin called for clip of Adele's acceptance speech. Robin was not pleased.

So, John Travolta's one of the few people Howard will actually make fun of now?

As gay/queer/fag/closeted homo as Travolta is, he was in two classic films: Saturday Night Fever and Pulp Fiction.

Howard's got his "love letter" to Alison, Private Parts. Hollywood's been banging down Howard's door ever since :c

travolta is not pretending that he doesn't wear a wig!

although i don't particularly like mrs.travolta, she can appear on camera and deliver lines without making a spectacle of herself by being terrible at it.

Its not even about Travolta - I could care less - but the fact Stern is projecting yet again as he seems to be doing more often lately, I'm sure he's not even conscious of it and not even his shrink can unravel that tight ball of self-disgust (not to get too serious or clinical here but Carl Jung felt neurosis was rooted in pervasive self disgust, which gives some insight here and kinda fits).

    Cognitive dissonance.

Howie is at war with himself as he ages.

Had a laugh at the Travolta line. Also from that same Oscar dicussion...

He mentioned that the music performances should be more "current", citing Led Zeppelin's music being used in Argo. Apparently Stern forgot Argo is set in 1979 and that Zeppelin's only relevance these days is within the context of music history.

You can add Grease to that list, too
