I thought this thread was about roofing material.
This commercial I saw one time said 2 out of 3 people have the shingle virus.
I know a tough old guy that said its a bad, bad deal.
didn't you get the vaccine? i got it last year. outrageously expensive too, but shingles is crippling and i ain't ready for medical disability.
Isn't shingles just the virus that causes chickenpox laying dormant? If you had chickenpox, you are susceptible to shingles.
if you had chickenpox as a kid, you already have the virus in you but its dormant. parents usually send their kids to play with other kids who already have it because its mild when you catch it young. i think the generations since 1960 are almost 100% infected.
I thought getting the chicken pox and getting over it automatically inoculated a person.
if you had chickenpox, you already have the shingles virus (same virus). its just not active in you anymore, but as you age (50+ now) you run a greater risk of it becoming active again.
for most of your life. after 50 you can have it become active again.
Oh shoot. I sure hope not. Sounds miserable.
David Letterman missed several weeks of shows when he had it.
Holy shit Larussa looks fucked up there. How have i never seen that before.
Remember that old Tony La Russa game on Sega? It was pretty sweet.
Blue Jays ruled in it.
How many blaeks does it take to shingle a roof? 2 if you slice them thin enough.
Didn't know tony l. had shingles.
Clutch if he keeps going down on hookers with the herp.
