Lukewarm came from the early 20th century. Famed performers in a travelling freak show had a man named Luke Mason who had his temperature lower than the average by 20 degrees. It amazed doctors but people weren't impressed. To this day it isn't known how he did it, theories are he would lower his blood pressure through meditating others thought he submerged himself in ice water. He died at the age of 32 of pneumonia.

    From Wikipedia.com
The term "coleslaw" arose in the eighteenth century as an Anglicisation of the Dutch term "koolsla", a shortening of "koolsalade", which means "cabbage salad".[SUP][2][/SUP]

What if you were in a restaurant and someone said to their server that they thought the cole slaw was lukewarm?
