I got rid of cable and now just have netflix and over the air tv

    I actually do not miss it. I know some if not all of you are going to cry BS but instead of being chained to the TV or DVR, I actually do things like read or interact with my kids. I recommend trying it. I do wonder about what happened on storage wars but oh well :dontknow:

    ...if you have comcast and you download from a torrent you get warning letters from comcast with a list of what you downloaded.

    I also got the magicjack for my phone. My bill from comcast went from $200 a month to $60

    ...you must have had the whole bundle and a few premium channels. im into them 150 a month phone net tv with hbo.

    I did the same thing, almost. I have Apple TV with netflix, but I still kept an expanded basic cable for the networks and Discovery and the like. It actually works out keeping a little TV with cable, as I have them for my phone and internet.

    We have the basic monthly cable, which gives us local channels and the Weather Channel etc...plus the Roku box...never been happier.

    We also do the 2 blu-rays at a time deal. I figure, why have the player if you are not gonna use it.
