    By sheer coincidence I used a coinstar today and got 75 pounds, gary puppet has me beat though.

    At 9% fee (last I knew), coinstar is not your friend. But I do use my credit union every time my change jar gets full for no fee. They even have the machine out front so you can do it yourself (fun!).

    Don't they have to count your coins after you roll them anyway, making that a colossal waste of time?

    you may have rolled some valuable ones with high silver content or something.
    better unroll and double check and re-roll :D

    They never counted them before. They just rubber band the rolls and accept my deposit.
