what state u in dink?
when it flew across the road and into a snowy marshy field, i totally lost it. in fact, i barely saw it when i came up on it until it started flying. great camo.
i'm in the upper midwest, where it's cold as fuck again today.
i see eagles, hawks, water foul, shore birds, etc, etc, all the time. owls are my new interest in terms of bird photography. but they're so rare to see like this around here that any pic i get is really cool to me.
looks young..recently on it's own,i'm guessing
could be. i don't really know a ton about owls, actually. it was pretty big when it flew, but it does look kind of small there. also, i know snowy owls tend to have more dark spots on them. i wonder if those develop as the bird ages. if so, the young bird theory would hold up.
ya i never see owls, especially white ones
He's like, "what's your problem bud. what, you never saw an owl with snow on it before? get lost dumb human, go back to dawgs"
i think he was mad because my truck was messing up his ability to hear mice in the grass. i felt bad.
the only owls we have around here hang around the airport
being at the airport makes me think they'd be white. hearing they hang out all the time and don't do much anything else makes me think they're non-white.
