It was probably the best show I've ever been to, and I saw a lot of shows.
Ive seen them a handful of times, and was impressed every time. My girlfriend saw them one time, and Steve Nicks came out and guested on "Stop Draggin' my Heart Around."
Even after all these years, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers put on an amazing show....
glad you had a good time!
Seen them many years ago
I bet there are very few times they DONT play that....
that and these two are my favs
Huge fan of both of those. Petty is such a bad ass
i've seen him twice at the gorge amphitheater
I saw them backing Bob Dylan once, and another time just The Heartbreakers....both top notch shows
Yeah they did "American Girl". "It's good to be king" also, and that song turned into an amazing jam that must have lasted around 15 minutes. They also did "Oh Well" from Fleetwood Mac, it was a friggin' awesome cover. They also did some songs from the latest album that sounded great. A lot of songs turned into jams.
What also was cool that Eddie Vedder happened to be in town and he came out and sung on two songs. He did a great job and was humble about it.
They always Jam out IGTBK, and I enjoy it. I dont think it is particularly improvised, but it is cool hearing them do something different.
That is amazing about Vedder!
Absolutely Love the Gorge
best concert venue i've seen
That's in LA, right?
They are on my bucket list of bands I need to see.
he played this song both times
