Any food that normally is chocked full of gluten deliciousness is ALWAYS vastly superior to it's limp wristed "gluten free" counterpart. Fact. :toptip:

My culinary training is steeped heavily in vegetarian and other restrictive diets. I didn't start hearing about gluten free this and gluten free that until about eight years ago. In fact, seiten which is actually wheat gluten was one of the most popular meat substitues in vegetarian and vegan cooking. :grad:

I can understand people having allergies to certain foods, but I'm tired of people nowadays saying their "allegic" to something when in fact its just a self-imposed dietary restiction. It sort of downplays the people who have real food allegies that are sometimes even life-threatening. I have to deal with people like the former all the time. I really just want to tell them to their face that they should go fuck themselves.

I'm certain that if I went to Somalia and offered a starving family loaves of bread, I doubt they'd say "We can't eat this, mother and brother are gluten-free and highly allergic."

FUCK gluten. Gluten free is the way to be!

Srs. Now that I've been gluten free for over a month, the rashes on my arms have disappeared, my stomach pain is GONE, my joints don't ache anymore and my doctors have taken me off some meds I was on.
