used to love browsing for albums.
another thing my kids will never be able to experience
I found one the other day. I fell on my knees and thanked Jesus right there in the "Rock/Pop" section.
I second that.
I used to go at least once a week to pick up new music and talk to the cute cashier girl.
i still have a few around. great way to spend a rainy afternoon
I miss horses instead of cars.
I miss sundials instead of clocks
thanks for the horse....
I miss sharpened stones instead of knives
we have some used record stores in DC that I frequent a lot to pick up old jazz records
I'm nearby the world famous Heavy Metal Shop
I have one a few blocks from my place that sells new and used records. HUGE collection of used stuff.
bet it smells like piss and aerisol cans in that place
I actually haven't been over there since 1997.
we have 2 left - but both are huge and new and used
i went to urban outfitters with the hebrew and they are selling some nice full length LPs in that clothing shop
the album covers alone are worth the browse
there used to be one right next door to my office and it was awesome. I used to go over there during my break and flip thru the old records. Fuck you oderus no god damn orange julius
There used to be a huge one in a south suburb. In the 80s there were ashtrays all over the place. Largest selection of records. Used to find rare imports. They sold bongs and hitter boxes.
Loved the place, it was called Crow's Nest.
