    They can be. You can drop a grand on one pretty easy.

    Plenty of them out there for adoption for pennies on the dollar, though.

    Do they have hip and breathing problems like Bulldogs or are they are a completely different breed?

    I like Boston Terriers. I know they have breathing/health problems, so I'd probably never have one. But they're cool little dogs.

    They can have hip problems but they aren't really prone to breathing problems.

    They're a pretty rock solid breed health wise.

    They're as stable as any other breed, but a lot of times they're owned by people who have no business owning a poodle let alone a pit.

    I don't really believe in dogs "snapping".
