If someone was going to switch from satellite to cable, the entire house wouldn't have to be rewired, correct?

While I await an answer, here's a slut in her underwear.

Yes that is correct, or yes the house has to be rewired?

It's early and I probably should still be in bed.

They have distribution systems now where you can split a single dish out to several receivers. I've only seen them in a commercial setting though. Here's an example of a distribution amplifier:

You need a certain type of dish/feed-horn (SWM) and a power injector. If you have RG6 coax in your house you may not have to rewire.

That's backwards. A friend of mine has a dish, wants to switch to cable, but won't do it if she has to have her house rewired. She tried calling Comcast, but got stuck talking to India.

Stupid costume. They should have given him a nose and ears to wear, not a head to have on his head.

Backwards? That amp would go where all the cable runs in the house terminate. If the house is wired with RG6 she won't have to re-cable.

I see. I was backwards. In that case all she has to do is pull the amp out and put in a passive splitter. The cable guy will do that for her.

Speaking of technical advice…Ehst the hell is this little button at the bottom of each person's post? Looks like a thought bubble or something with " in it and has a + next to it.

It's the multi-quote button. Click all the ones you want on a page, then hit the "reply to thread" button.
