Rewatching the Artie attacks Teddy video again. Benjy gets up and tries to stop Artie. Fred like a chump just sat there and watched. He could take Artie out with one shot I thought :dontknow:

Benjy is the only staffer that genuinely loves Artie. He was only staffer to remember his birthday, and used his plug on The Wrap Up Show to wish him a HappyBirthday.

Fred does push ups. I don't think even he could push Artie out of the room.

    ^This.

Fred is one of those "tough guys" who has probably never been in a real fight (one beyond grade school or high school if even that) his entire life.

    I don't think Fred is all that tough. He's a telephone tough-guy.

That said, I'm betting, in a way, that Fred didn't bother getting up because he wanted Artie to be shown as completely out of control. Fred would only try to stop Art if he wanted to save Art's job.

It's funny you bring this up because I remember thinking the EXACT same thing during the Artie fight....there sat Fred not moving an inch at any point.

You would think as Benjy is getting run over that Fred would intervene but apparently not

I wouldn't have tried to stop Artie either. Teddy said "bloomies" so he deserved to be hit. Artie was a junkie hack and deserved to lose his job. Sitting there and doing nothing was a good attempt at killing 2 birds with one stone.

^Yeah in all siriusness, Fred and Artie seemed to have a genuine respect for one another. I'm kinda surprised Fred didn't get involved too. Though, maybe he was looking up sound effects or something. Howard was doodling, so it's possible.

why should the elderly and frail Fred get involved in a security
matter .....what Benji does is always off the charts stupid so
emulating him would've been a fools-errand .....Fred ain't no spring
    chicken :howard:
