But I hear this song and just can't
i'm personally not into it. nothing in it is interesting enough to justify it's length.
And I really like Metallica--just Unforgiven II is awful.
Watch "Some Kind of Monster" if you want some help with that hate thing.
I suppose I don't really 'hate' them, but it gives the douche chills to see the domesticated robots they've turned into. For fuck's sake, the goddamn band employed a full-time therapist to help them communicate with each other.
try harder theyre washed up,that song is like 20 yrs old
No wonder Howard's such a big fan. A bunch of pussies.
It's the whole Napster thing and douche thing. It's hard to swallow i know.
I'm a closeted Metallica pop rock liker.
I hate them or at least Lars , he wouldn't shake hands
Metallica 1981-90: revolutionary
Metallica 1991-2007: pathetic
Metallica 2008-now: ok, I guess. Death Magnetic wasn't horrible
I've never had any problem hating metallica
James doesn't really have the voice for aggressive music anymore. Not his fault, you can't perform as many shows as they have and still have that same voice at 50, but it just doesn't fit what they're trying to do now.
I'll admit that in my teen/college years (primarily during the 90's) I was a HUGE Metallica fan...I was one of those kids in high school that had every variation of Ride The Lightning and Master of Puppet tshirts they made etc etc..I was even willing to forgive them for the Load and Reload albums, even learned to like them in time....but that fucken video man...it was a bridge too far for me as a fan..a total and complete turning point watching this bunch of pussies (including Newsted) piss and moan about how hard life is...it was surreal to say the least
Is this song about baseball? I've noticed the Giants have been sucking their dicks lately, having "Metallica Nights", or some such shit.
Ride the lightning changed my life(the album specifically but I really like the song too) . I picked up a guitar because of Metallica. My tastes have changed considerably since I was 16 but Metallica's first 3 albums are something special. I recently watched Thru the Never on netflix, the storyline connecting the concert was kinda dumb but had some cool visuals, The concert it's self was pretty damn good. Metal up your ass.
They are based out of San Fransisco I believe
