The arcade version of Dragon's Lair just got released on Steam. The game originally came out in 1983 when I was 12 years old, and I dumped every available quarter into that motherfucker.

Your game ends after five lives, but in this version you can just keep hitting continue and go on from there.

I just slayed the dragon and rescued Daphne, you cunts, and no -- I was never able to do it as a kid.

O RLY. I didn't even know about it. Thanks for the tip. Maybe I'll go and when I'm in a crowd, I'll keep saying "Fox One. Fox One."

Right? I had certain levels that I could do every time, and others where I knew I was fucked as soon as they appeared. I confess that this PC version has easy, normal and hard (I guess that's how forgiving it is for early or late responses), and I did it on easy, but I'm inspired to work up to hard.

I remember there being a delay between the joystick and the guy actually moving...I couldn't wrap my little 10 year old brain around that. It cost me a lot of paper route money.

I really loved the beginning of dragons lair 2 where Daphne mom is calling you an idiot and throwing stuff at you cause she got kidnapped.

I bought a shitty PC version years ago. They kind of hand this one to you, though. Three difficulty levels, and you can turn on a thing that flashes directions and sword timing.

I loved that game on Panasonic 3D0 in the 90s. That Panasonic system was pretty cool too. Battle Chess was my favorite.

Loved that game! One of the first that I remember costing a buck to play.

For some reason I never got into this game. I think I was intimidated by how difficult it appeared to be.
