People finally tiring of frauds Bieber and Swift.
Sometimes I make the mistake of turning on hit-radio. I can't believe how incredibly shitty music is these days. It just sucks, all of it. Fucking horrible.
I generally don't wish bad things on people but I hope bad shit happens to Justin Bieber and the like, and the people who manufactured these 'stars'.
It's weird now. Country, hip hop, R&B, that poppy punk music...it all sounds the same. All the genres kinda merged together to make
I missed it- look at this fool thinkin' he's all street now.... BITCH PLEASE.
American Random Shitty Noise Awards
The minute that androgynous asshat Justin Bieber started talking about his haters during his acceptance speech I turned that crap off.
And that's why I like Sirius, honestly. They have a whole bunch of great channels with good music going on.
As a 32 year old, I am thankful to have spent my middle school through college years during the 1990s. I'm also saddened that music will never be as good.
Yes I know tastes change, but today's music is particularly garbage. rap music in particular.
I love it when the old bitties come out and start bitching that today's music is bad. Tell me again how music peaked at *insert decade* and will never be good again. I love that story.
The music is just as good. It's just not played on the mainstream radio. Music is better than ever if you know where to look.
I remember it used to be exciting when the AMA were on and you would be looking to catch a glimpse at your favorite bands having fun. Music just absolutely sucks now.
yeah, unfortunately it's a sign of our "old age". I used love watching the AMA's, the video music awards , etc. when I was in the 18-25 year old demographic that those shows cater to. They played MY music. Now they play stuff that todays 18-25 year olds like. stuff we think is awful. . LOL.
I hate rap so I must be old? No, I always hated it because it is crap.
So I try to think that it's just a factor of age. But how can that be if we can look back at Mozart and Bach or even more modern examples of Jazz, and Folk, Blues, turn of the century ragtime, and say THAT was great music? No, it just sucks worse now. Very little redeeming qualities about autotuner, pussy good pussy sweet, and Justin Bieber. etc. It's mainly disposable music, not intended to be around very long. I'm sure there are SOME decent bands out there don't get me wrong, but you're not gonna see them on the American Music Awards.
Oh no how did I miss the show?
Music has always had it's fair share of awful pop music - but it was always balanced out by rock, rap, country (gross), etc. Now it's all just lumped into one genre and it's called horrible shit. Rock is dead, rap is completely over-saturated, and country just lost it's anonymity. There's some good alternative out there, but they don't get as much attention as they should - but that's probably a blessing.
there is not nearly the same money to be made in music nowadays, so you have to look harder for underground/alternative music. if it's not insanely popular, pop, it's not on tv. good music is always around, you just have to look for it.
they need to get better acts like olate dogs
Isn't the music industry dead YET?? The sooner the better. I haven't bought music since 1999, how about the rest of you?
Justin bieber won 3 awards? That just shows how desperate the music industry is for attention. What's next a one direction lifetime achievement award? I tuned over once and they announced Pink and I immediately turned it off.
