And I finally got custody of my youngest son!
I'm beyond happy, there are no words to describe it.
Don't fuck him
Congratulations. And for being in your kids' lives
Am I wrong here? I thought you had a grandchild?
Next phase...child support
Good for you!!! I got full custody of my Daughter when she was six............Really Dude, CONGRATS!!!!!
Isn't it unusual for men to get full custody? The ex must have been a royal fuck up
Well done bro. Always nice to see a dad step up and do the right thing.
Me too. 1996. When I initially won it was because my ex's attorney failed to respond and I won a default judgement. 1 year later a judge over turned it and then I was fighting against the attorney that caused the default. After a 4 day trial and 75k I eventually won. We had the full meal deal with PI's, shrinks, child psychologists etc. Worst and best time of my life.
I've been fighting for two years to get him away from that witch. Your CONGRATS mean a lot. Thank you!
Yeah, I think the prohibitive costs associated with challenging custody is why there aren't more custody battles. It's really pretty tragic.
Mine was a coke headed whore......She was an established PA and really cool when we met and later married a year later......About seven years in......She got on the rails and was one of those that just surrendered to it..........She was arrested for felony possession with intent to distribute......And I swooped in with a vicious Lady Esquire and had my kid signed over
inside a week.........We never looked back..........
From the heart K......From the heart!!!!
lol thats funny
Tell the judge her money will not keep up with your kid's "lifestyle"
I'm going to have a kid soon...soon as I get lucky!
The private investigator I hired was able to show what I couldn't. The court appointed shrink we all had to visit wrote that my ex wife was such an over the top narcissist that he could only recommend supervised visitation. After all that the judge still ordered regular visitation. This was 20 years ago and it might be different now, but I know the judge struggled giving me custody.
