I had no idea about this at all. Just listening back to some of the older tapes on YT while doing work and just heard this one where Artie was offered 5-10 million to host a radio show and replace Howard after he left K-Rock.

Yeah I mean Artie had his problems and maybe they would've got in the way like recent stuff but it was years ago and I wonder how that would've went. Artie to me was a lot funnier back then than today. That's a ton of money too.

Artie can barely get a podcast done in his own living room. No way would he have been able to carry a real radio show.

Who would be the 'Gar" that would be on the receiving end of his sick call? How long would that last? He'd be out of a job in 6 months.

it wasnt on paper so it didnt mean much, plus knowing artie he would screwed it up within the first year and would only see a fraction of that contract. He did eventually did get his own show after howard and it tanked. i think he played his cards right sticking with Howard.

Yeah today he is shot. In all honesty, yeah he probably would ran into the same trouble but it would've been cool to see what would've happened. I'd take the old Artie over the new Artie today.

I call bullshit. Artie may have been loyal. But he's not THAT loyal.

Ultimately I agree with you. There is no way Artie makes it through to the end of that contract.

I doubt Artie was offered $10 million guaranteed.

If Artie could actually carry a show, he'd be doing it already. He's had plenty of chances and yet he keeps sliding down the totem pole of broadcasting. Podcast is pretty much bottom of the barrel. The only thing left is to cut out a hole in a cardboard box, stick it on his lawn and put on a show for the neighborhood.

They wanted Baba Booey to be part of the Artie Show too, IIRC...
