I watched that whole movie. It was surprisingly good. The level of nerdiness was beyond comprehension. Especially at the arcade in NH.
Yeah, great movie with real honest to goodness geeks, not at all like the poseurs who wear "nerd" as a badge because they just bought an iPad or a 3D-ready TV.
The guy with greasy hair at 3:02 is the real deal.
I was really hoping Steve Wiebe would punch Billy Mitchell in the face but he seems like too much of a nice guy, or perhaps a slow adult who happens to be very talented.
I recently visited the Twin Galaxies site for the first time in years, and was pleased to read that Steve is once again the reigning Donkey Kong champion.
The movie never even showed Billy Mitchell playing. As far as anyone knows he never actually played. Though there have been accusations that the movie falsely portrayed him as a cheating scumbag. I don't know why he wouldn't play Steve live in front of an audience if he wasn't though.
