like any other great artist they would have got repetitive, unoriginal and went to shit.

    Imagine if:
Metallica died after And Justice... or Black Album (if your like poppy)
    Eminem died after Marshal Mathers
    Aerosmith died after Permanent Vacation
    Van Halen died after OU812
Alanis died after that Pill album

great artist fizzle, it is a fact of life.

the only artist I can think of that got better with age is Johnny Cash. IMO he put out his best material at the end of his life. Then again, he did reinvent himself and had a new perspective on the world.

God bless Johnny Cash and Rick Ruben for giving us those albums.

tuwac and biggie fries were the worst things that ever happened to hiphop....both are sucking cock and taking backshots and swallowing in hell.

I hated the grunge movement. But Nirvana was a pioneer at the forefront of the genre. When they died it immortalized them for eternity... aside from Pearl Jam, who still does have a small core following look at all the other bands, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, STP, Mudhoney, L7, MLB, Bush They are all pretty much summer concerts at best and discount bin music.

Randy Rhodes was no better than Zakk Wylde, disagree or not, they are both huge, but each re-invented Ozzy's sound and only Randy will be a God forever because he died at his height. Take Dimebag for instance. Pantera was dead and buried, it took a maniac to make him cover material and a huge intellectual property

"Melle Mel took a shot at Pac. The veteran lyricist compared Shakur to Hitler and said the fraudulent images he portrayed "brought down an entire culture."
