    self-congratulatory farewell bits?
Billy Joel or gaga for a final huge guest?
Beetlejuice or other wack Packers for goodbyes?
Certainly not starting thus flat Ronnie bit.

I just don't see him leaving. He sure ain't acting the part.
Unless terms of his departure require silence.

    What do you think?

Didn't he leave the air once at Krock without a contract. I remember there being a lot of "well I don't know what you (the audience) will do for entertainment, I guess the company doesn't care about you" BS. Also didn't the las time he renewed that flake Buchwald came in with some champagne in the last week like the party wasn't ending? A lot of fake drama. Whatever the plan is your long term fan will hate it by the end.

There is a less than 1% chance that howard is retiring or leaving Sirius.

Sirius will announce a new contract soon.

he's re-signing...less hours a day, less shows per week. less staff, more boring, 'serious' interviews. then again, Sirius would have to be fucking retarded (or quite the conquerors rather) to re-sign the old queen.

    I'm already over him re-signing in 2015.

I'm now focused on 2020. Will he be back? Yes.

Can someone in the UK find a bookie and learn the odds for Howard re-signing. I am curious what money says.

He decided to retire, so he has more time to paint and scrapbook and hodge podge and pick out his newest scarf and run a fake charity and chase his gold digging wife and watch some tv. Lord knows he doesn't have enough time to watch tv. He needs time to go kiss some more celebrity ass at some hamptons parties.

    fuck him

he should retire, the show and his life are an embarressment

I don't think he has enough energy to pull off a "proper" goodbye now. If he re-signs for another 2-3 years, then at the end of that deal has a big "farewell" party/special, it will be the most douche-chilling moment in "entertainment" since Chevy Chase's talk show.

In 2-3 years time, he'll basically be Old Groucho that Gilbert used to do an impression of, back when the show was funny.

And who will be left to kiss his ass? Will it just be a 90-minute circle-jerk of Maines, Rapaport, and Jillian Barberie waxing poetic about Howard's legacy?

Where Sirius wants Wiggy or not, they will let him go.

Two months later, when Wiggy's market value crashes below Riley's or Jackie's, Sirius can rehire him for plugs.

I hope he keeps re-signing. Hopefully, he dies in that chair before he can retire and enjoy his money.

He left AGT with a whimper.

He can talk to a shrink 4x a week but can only talk on the radio twice a week. Call your kids, Howard!

I believe that he will sign a new contract, maybe not a five year deal but the show will go on. Then after a month or so he will inform the audience that the live shows will be cut down to 2 days a week.

He's in his fucking 60's and he's still trying to work through his damaged past. There are people who have undergone major trauma who haven't undergone as much therapy as Howard. You'd think he grew up in a concentration camp and had to eat the bodies of his dead family based on the amount of time he'd logged with his shrink.

I don't listen every day, and even when I do, it may be a few minutes here or there just to see if the train wreck can get any worse (and I'm never disappointed,) but has there even been made a mention of The Wig throwing his annual Christmas party this year? I can't recall hearing about any plans or even reading about it here... No party would be a telling sign. Anyone know?

that's why he will keep re-signing....he already knows the money doesn't make him happy. It's the attention and power he craves. the few dumbass yes-men and whack packers kissing his ass. It's not like he'll retire and travel the world seeking out different cultures. He'd be sitting at home with his whorse wondering why nobody talks about him anymore.
