Howard could have done something like this years ago and made it work. Now not so much.
Now that there's no TV show, what's stopping him? Have a guest come to Sirius and interview him/her via ISDN. I don't listen anymore, but I doubt that those who still do actually give a fuck.
It works great for Jay Thomas.
I keep hearing these rumors about a studio in Florida. Not sure if they hold merit or not.
What do you do for a living?
Howard is moving there full-time after summer break...primarily for tax purposes.. It is estimated he will save 2-3 million of NY taxes per year by having a permanent residence in Florida...so the rumors are true....
He could have beat Limbaugh to it.
Howard invented that
i think that's what the 10 million dollar closet is.
He could broadcast bald
Think it was for the strap on dildo collection
Wig less or not, it's just the how big is your dick show.
What about that little law in "Palm Beach" (..and also in the "Hamptons".) that doesn't allow for such things?
No complaints......know concern$?
True, all Howard would have had to overcome is the glaringly obvious parallel with imus. The reason it probably didn't happen: Howard is not am honest person. He couldn't pull it off on the down low. He would have had tons of connectivity problems (because he's a cheap fuck), Sirius just built him a studio, his "guests" would have to fly to some backwoods fla airport instead of NYC where they could do other shows in one trip and it really wouldn't help in convincing his audience that 4,3 and eventually 2 days if Howard were better than no days of Howard. The only thing he had going for him was that he actually had an audience... He doesn't Anymore. His radio show are miles below even msnbc numbers.
But he didn't.
What are you worth? 20 million? 25? C'mon, what is it?
Although Rush Limbaugh doesn't actually work from a bunker, he does have a bunker mentality. His studio is on the third floor of a (purposefully) anonymous building 100 yards off the white sands of Palm Beach, Florida, and about a mile from his gated mansion (the one next to Chuck Norris's). Along with the Gulfstream jet (cost: $54 million), fleet of sports cars and eight-year contract, worth $400 million, this mansion is his reward for being the most listened-to talk-radio host in America, a title he has held for 20 years.
Wrong!!!!! I get paid to do this stuff......as long as he meets the 180 day residency requirement, he's a resident of Florida, a non-resident of NY, just cause Sirius is in New york makes no fucking difference..Hey genius, what tax law says you're a resident of where your employer is based??? (Unless the employer state has a reciprocity agreement with your resident state), your income get taxed by the state you do the work...and for that matter NY doesn't have reciprocity with any state..As such, if you work in NY you pay NY taxes no matter where you reside and vice-versa...)
....If Rush is being audited by NY (I don't know) its because they're verifying his non-residency status and his non NY (non taxable by NY standards) sources of income....
Getting a homo room with natural reverb ain't cheap.
