Victim turns shotgun on street mugger, and shoots him Dec. 11, 2014 WASHINGTON - Police say a teen is dead after he allegedly tried to rob a man on a D.C. street and had his own gun turned on himself. The shooting happened at 10:43 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Langston Place and Ainger Place in the southeast. Officers say a 18-year-old Channel Johnson approached a 22-year-old man in the 2400 block of Ainger Place and attempted to rob him with a shotgun. A struggle took place and Johnson was shot with his own gun. Officers say the 22-year old remained at the scene and was cooperating with police. Johnson was transported to a local hospital where he later died. Detectives in the southeast were busy with shootings throughout the day Wednesday. Officers say a man was shot near the Anacostia Metro station around 3:40 p.m. The condition of that victim is unknown. Also, officers say a juvenile male was shot just after 4 p.m. on 23rd Street and Savannah Street. Multiple shell casings were seen in the middle of the street in the area. The condition of that person is unknown.
You kidding, this is D.C., they are as whacked as San Francisco. They are probably considering charging the victim with possession of a weapon for taking it away from the mugger and holding onto it.
Something like that happened in England. A guy found a bag in the street. In the bag there was a gun. Being a good citizen, he brought it to a police station where he was Promptly arrested. In England if you find a gun, you're not allowed to touch it. you are supposed to call the police. insanity at it's finest.
