If you were pushing a special person in a wheelchair

when the bombs went off, would you have just left him sitting there?

if you'll notice, right after the explosion, a few of the people who were just crossing the finish line checked their times. i guess they were dazed and confused.

I saw that too. Some girl looked back at the blast, then turned back around and checked her time

But I was just thinking what an everyday type hero it would take to push someone in a wheelchair out of the way and save them while bombs are going off

i think they were doing what comes naturally. some run from the sound of guns, some run to it.

Mr G says he would definitely help them. I think I would be running so fast I would break the sound barrier

I dont think after running/pushing a wheelchair for 26+ miles that my first thought when I heard a boom would be that it was a bomb. Ive never run a marathon, but even after a 5k I was a little dazed/confused.

once a bomb goes off, after the initial WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT, people generally start to help. they think the danger is over. this is why muslim filth set up a second or 3rd bomb so they can take out some of the first responders. not that i'm saying these scum were muslim scum. we shall see.

I think if I knew them personally I'd definitely stick with them.

If it was just random, there is a good shot I might just give them a good hard push in the right direction. :dontknow:

I'm not asking about initial thoughts. I mean when you have decided you must react. GTFO or save someone

It probably does. But honestly, I can't say I'd be one of those people that go running in to help people 5 seconds after a bomb goes off.

If I don't have any family members/friends to worry about, my first instinct would be to make sure I kept myself safe.

Then after things settled down a bit, I would worry about helping others.

I think that's what they mean when they call people heroes. They thought about others before themselves

    I don't see myself being a hero :(
