Also tell us how fair this is to literally millions of people who have filled out paperwork and are waiting their turn to enter legally? Or should the doors be thrown open? There are, after all, "only" about a billion or two people who would give their left nut to live here. Seems quite manageable.

California does have an odd school system for lawyers. There are non-ABA schools, when combined with passing the California Bar, will allow you to practice only in California (some other states will reciprocate after a # of years). I read that he came to the US when 17 months old, so he's lived his whole life here.

 

No, another Mexican in a state that doesn't think the law applies to them. If you read the article this guy came here illegally at 17 after previously having been dragged here illegally as a baby and then dragged back to Mexico as a very young child.

California is officially the guy that hasn't paid you back that $1,000 you loaned him years ago and keeps complaining about how he'll get it to you as soon as he has the money, yet is always able to support his vices. So let me get this straight... this man has been in this country illegally for over 2 decades which means he has no social security number so he's never paid a dime in taxes. So he got a free ride through high school and college and now wants the state of California to grant him the right to practice law? That's bullshit! The state should send him a bill for all the public services he and his family have been mooching off of all these years before granting him anything!!!
