Signing up for AA. You guys probably knew that though. My life needs to get better.
Good luck, man!
I hate quitters. I'm out of Booze.
11 years clean and sober.
Good luck man! I wish you all the luck in the world.
hope you get ya shit together real soon. yer a nice addition to our community.
one day at a time bro
Good luck dude!
AGREED, just learn or re-train yourself how to drink more intermittently and responsibly. Switch to just light beer under 5% alcohol. I was seriously thinking about becoming a "drinking coach" to keep people away from AA, and that crap. I would stick a .38 in mouth if I couldn't enjoy my liquA on my terms socially.
Before you do anything drastic just listen to Doug Stanhope eviscerate Jim Norton about AA.
If you don't drink for a month i'll let you listen to metallica on my ipod
Hope you get the help you need FCC.
if you're ever feeling down, I'm happy to buy you a drink
And just remember to not drink and drive because you might spill your drink!
Hey FCC if you need any help lemme know, I've got almost 10 years and when I went in could never figure it out, but now I "get" the program thanks to help from Gary.
Dude stick to zoozazoo. You have no clue on the addiction process if you think a person in a full blown state can just cut down. I despise AA, but I would never tell a person looking to 1st quit to avoid going, Stop under any circumstance you can. Stay clean a minimum of 5 years and then maybe you might have a grip on your life to be able to drink responsibly. They aren't drinking for the social aspect, they are burying their perceived shortcomings.
Best of luck! I know many people who are in recovery and while it has been very difficult, it has also been the best decision of their lives.
