    Is Stern so lazy...

That he plays unfunny recorded bits claiming to interview Sterling using a Stern impersonator?

He admitted yesterday he doesn't attend the writing meetings. I guess he is above actually doing anything but showing up.

I tuned in midway through this and it sounded like someone trying to be funny but just fell flat. Racist Jewish voice.

So, for those of you that didn't hear it (everyone), Howard claimed to have interviewed Donald Sterling. I was expecting to hear Howard doing a fake interview with real audio stitched in. Instead, the interviewer was not Howard and they had a fake Donald Sterling with racist answers. Isn't at least one side of it supposed to be real? Did they just buy this bit from electric eel? I don't even understand the concept. What is the joke about Howard interviewing Sterling when neither Howard nor Sterling were in the bit?

Good Lord they really are worthless in those weekly "writing meetings" if garbage like this is the pinnacle of their creative output.

I'm convinced Wiggy is so in love with the Donald Sterling controversy because Sterling says what Howard thinks

The joke is that Howard will only pick on easy targets where the popular opinion is 99% against them. That is the funny.

Only took them a month after the story broke to get a bit together, well done.

That, and then he tries to get anyone involved in a controversy onto his show, tries to embarrass them further and tries to co-opt it and take credit like he had been involved all along, then masturbates violently if it makes any of the rags the next day.

Then Hein yaps on wrapup about the "master interviewer" that "knocked it out of the park again".

    Ponderous.

Here's the MarksFriggin rundown, sounds incredibly dumb even for Howard:

Howard said many people have been calling about his interview with Donald Sterling. He said he spoke with him after he spoke to Anderson Cooper. Howard played a clip which was a guy doing an impression of Howard and doing an impression of Donald Sterling. The guy had Sterling talking about V. Stiviano and mistaking the country Nigeria for the N-word. He had Sterling talking about Magic Johnson not being able to get AIDS right.
Howard said that's making news all over the place. Robin said he has uncovered a lot in an interview. Howard talked about that bit for a short time and mentioned the things that he got out of that. Howard said no one has aired that interview. He said everyone is afraid. He said that was his favorite interview of all time.

Wait. That guy was impersonating Howard? It didn't even remotely sound like him. I am certain this was a "purchased" bit that had nothing to do with Stern at all.
