Some dude called in this week and asked Howard about his contract. Howard responded that he "[had a lot of options and he was exploring them]". I mean where could howard go other then podcast at this point? WTF does he think we are dumb?
He isn't going back to cbs or any traditional radio because they wouldn't put up with his shittty work ethic for three days a week at that money, no way. TV, no way he's past his demographic on air.

Podcast he COULD do but who's gonna pay for his content at this point with all the other options of close free content already out there? Plus howard bagged on podcast guys the last 5 years and for him to do it would be the last shovel of dirt on his coffin of credibility. For Marci Turk to claim or imply she thinks they could have 1 million listeners pay is utter baloney, no way. Perhaps for a few months but then it's over fast

If I'm Sirius I low ball him badly in his new contract and say sianaro if you don't want it. I'd love to see where you could make close to this. Howard knows it too. His "option" at this point his is his only asking himself if he has any ego and work ethic left and we will see if he still has either, my guess is no.

To imply people still get Sirius at this point for his shitty product or for a howard stern and his departure would impact their bottom line is the epitomy of insanity by his camp.

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes podcast route. Although it'd be a HUGE paycut.
He could make a few mil ayear just of plugs. But even that I feel will be too much effort for him for anything less than 20m per year. He's just used to such ridiculous paychecks.
Plus he'd have to eat a lot of crow with all the shit he's said about them
Ya know, I just talked myself out of it. He won't do a podcast.

I got Sirius for Howard. I keep it because I like it (for 5 bucks a month) and I listen to Howard with the other stuff I like. I'll probably keep it if he leaves. But I'm not paying for podcasts or anything else. I don't have any apple products, so no iTunes either. No more following Howard for me.

Howard invented creating a buzz about his exploration of non-existent options - meanwhile, dozens of fans are still anxiously waiting for the reboot of HowardTV.

    Exactly
Who does he think he is fooling at this point with viable options?
He has none due to his mailed in efforts the last five years and his lost age demographic. And if I know that he and his team has to

Exploring options means no good offers, he's never been without a deal this late in the game. I hope he's done, but I do want to see him fail at his next endeavour.

"exploring options" = seeing what's on Showtime, what's on HBO, what's on Discovery, what's on CBS, what's on FOX, etc., etc., etc.

Why doesn't he just take that "dream job" he claims he was offered months ago? Why would he turn down his "dream job" and wait to see what Sirius offers? How could it possibly top his "dream job"?
