I just took home my newest gun from Big 5 today. It's a Mossberg 590 shotgun. I'm now ready for the zombie apocalypse.

What are you buying it for? Home protection? Ever consider a shotgun?

This is the gun Tuco had on the first(or maybe second) episode of Better call Saul, I like it. Chambered in .454 Casull , .45 colt , or .410 shot gun shells.

You'll shoot your eye out kid.
.45ACP packs a pretty good wallop and a1911 isn't the easiest gun to shoot. For a first gun I'd think about getting a 9MM or a .38 revolver.

    Glock 30 in .45ACP

Less recoil than a standard .380ACP.

I have the .40 version of that hand gun. Very reliable, minimal recoil, easy to field strip. Good gun.

I guess the first thing we need to know is what you want the gun for? Do you want it foir home defense, want it for target shooting, is it your first gun ever and need something to learn to shoot on?

I also just got some Crosman zombie targets to go shoot. The 12 gauge is a bit overkill for these paper targets, bit shooting zombies never gets old. Plus it's fun to back up and fire slug rounds at them.

Glock....It's not as pretty as some of the others mentioned here but it's worth it's weight.
