Kind of geeked up and kind of nervous at the same time.
What are the odds you pull the trigger and the first time the gun goes "brbrbrbrbrbrbrat!", the barrel rises and you end up shooting up over your head?
Those have been known to blow up in your face
There's no recoil and I doubt it's full auto
I'm not a gun person. They kind of freak me out but that's the reason I'm doing this, to show myself that it's an irrational fear.
My daughter has been shooting one since she was 10. You'll be fine
Nothing to it.
Why the hell is @Mack not in here yet?
There is virtually no recoil on an AR-15. Lots of fun to shoot. a lot safer that shooting a handgun.. It would be really difficult to shoot yourself with a rifle.
Keep you finger off the trigger until you're ready to fire and don't point at anything you don't intend to shoot. Follow those two rules and you'll have a ton of fun.
I wasn't a gun person until a few years ago. I wasn't anti gun but I didn't like them. It was antirational fear.
You gonna get hooked
I consider shooting myself to be less serious than shooting each other: other people shoot back, or worse. Other people sue.
But alway ear plugs. Your hearing will be fucked fast otherwise.
It's like shooting a .22,
So it's not lethal?
