    I may be needing to buy a new desktop. Should I trust Asus? I want a Windows 7 machine, and the only other brand I can get a in a store with 7 installed is Dell, and I've heard more than enough bad stories about them. I'd like another Compaq, but I don't want to order it online and have something like this happen to it:

    To answer your question, ASUS is a good brand. I'd take an ASUS over an HP, Compaq or Dell any day.

    ASUS is a good brand. Have an ASUS desktop myself. Never had a problem. Although I am a PC tech.

    I'm juss sayin, boards are built by robots, components are getting pretty much standard as there aren't a whole shitload of choices out there anymore. You'll find 10x the variety among different monitors as you would comparing the actual machine.

    My choice would be

    1. Dell
    2. Asus
    3. Compaq

    I'd pick Lenovo over all of those, though. All the stuff they make is super reliable and you can customize your set-up on their website.

    What the fuck are you talking about? All processors perform the same? All mobos have the same features? A $75 video card renders as well as a $750 one?
