In Ferguson, Push for Criminal Justice Reform Draws Comparisons to ’60s Fight for Civil Rights

    Comparisons? Really? Let's not forget that the Ferguson incident was caused by a thug not obeying a clear, lawful order from a police officer, and then doing an incredibly stupid thing by trying to take the officer's gun, from inside the police car.

    Even the first paragraph of the NYT article focuses on "An unarmed black teenager killed by a white police officer" rather than the fact that the "Teenager" was responsible for his own death.

    Any mention of the Black on Black violence that makes up 99% of the deaths of young black men(and innocent bystanders)? I guess it's easier to focus on the minuscule percentage of Black people killed by Police and blame the evil White man.:shitcoffee:
