Hi there, It was a gloomy day, but work was good and I've had fun reading about getting this whole Film Society thing off the ground. Tonight, Sweetie and I decided to give a restaurant that we had a terrible experience at a second chance. I am glad we did, the service and food were excellent. This is for Chriza. On Tonight's Menu: We split two entrees from Red Robin I picked the Bleu Ribbon Burger, a Hamburger with Bleu Cheese Crumbles, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion Straws, Steak Sauce, & Spicy Mayo on an Onion Bun... He picked the Patty Melt, a hamburger patty with Thousand Island Dressing, Swiss Cheese, Carmelized Onions on Grilled Rye Bread... ...and a track by a band that is near and dear to most weird women who were weird girls between the ages of 30 and 40. The Riot Grrrl movement was a breath of fresh air for femininity, individuality, and sexuality. It proved that women aren't fucktoy hood ornaments or man-pleasing mannequins. The band is Bikini Kill and the song is "Rebel Girl" for all my rebel girls: Talk about the food or the music thing. I hope everyone is in high spirits or high on spirits!
