...what are your favorite Bowie albums?

    Heathen
    Low
    Ziggy
    Station to Station
    Aladdin Sane

One people should give a listen to would be Outside as well.

I'm not a big fan of Bowie and I'm not sure what his albums were but, I did like a little of his early stuff.

    Godspeed, Starman.

I used to have the Live at the Tower Theatre album. Had some good tunes on it. Probably liked Diamond Dogs the best.

Is there really another answer than The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars?

Besides a Greatest Hits, this is the only one I bothered with.

    Ziggy Stardust, for sure.
Otherwise...all of them. Even the not so great albums have some great songs. Haven't met a Bowie album that I didn't like.

Hunky Dory -- Ziggy -- Aladdin Sane

That was his best run of albums IMO. Gotta love Mick Ronson. Bowie & Ronson > Mick & Keith.

    Odd dude.
Really never liked any of his music at all. Too avant garde.
I do like listening to him interviewed though, kind of an interesting character.

The period from Ziggy Stardust to Station to Station was phenomenal.
As prolific as any artist ever had (Dylan in the 1960's, Beatles in the mid-late 60's, Stones from Aftermath to Exile on Main St.)

    Ziggy
    Aladdin Sane
    Diamond Dogs
    Young Americans
    Station to Station
