For a grand total of $0 you can lock your child's credit file by contacting the 3 major credit bureaus yourself if you're that worried about it.

You're not the boss of me. I'm just severely upset by childhood identity theft. Thank you.

Could you elaborate on the origins of your being severely upset by childhood identity theft?
You realize that much of this occurs when nurses who work in hospitals or for G. P.'s sell the personal info of patients? Especially patients under the age of 16.
They busted several nurses for selling personal info while working for different hospitals in Memphis a few years ago.
And guess what- all of the nurses looked like LaWanda (Aunt Esther) Page!

Everyone should just get credit freezes and ditch these scam services, it only costs like a one time 5 bucks and you are done. If you need to do something credit related you just unfreeze it . No problems
