I fucking suck at doing it.

We are hiring a salesman for our company, and I've been calling the people that have been applying. It's really hard work figuring out who will be the best person for the job. Especially since I'll be the one that has to work everyday with them:facepalm:

Do you have any input on what are the best questions to ask to really find out about someone from a phone interview?

    No

The best way is to interview them face to face and narrow it down

Then go to lunch with them and get to know them in a more informal setting where they're more relaxed and can be "themselves"

    It can still fail

I just hired a super hot girl to work for me and honestly, her looks were 95% of the reason I chose her over the other candidates.

It is canDIdates by the way. Getting the spelling down should prob be your first step.

Sad but true. If you're going to be working with someone every day it's important that you like the way they look

You won't screw her. You couldn't screw a prospective porn star if you were the most successful porn producer. That is unless you power bottomed for a gay star.

Hey Real, ask them, "why do you want to work here"

    Always a winner. :rolleye:

When I'm hiring a salesman, I throw honesty out the window and go with the biggest bullshit artist. They usually make good salesmen.

The only things I worry about besides that are drug users, but I can usually spot a coke head a mile away and criminal activity, but that is what a background check is for.
