The finger print tracking is the first thing I thought about when I first heard about the iPhone 5.
People are dumb.
I forgot about the Apple suicide nets
What is it about? I never heard of it.
the huge nets around the factories are real
workers were jumping out the windows
So your fat nephew can have an I phone.
apple's timing in releasing a finger print scanner iphone was horrible.
anyone know if you can bypass it if you want? it's so not anything i'd even want even if it couldn't be used as a civil rights violation device.
I took a nap and now I can't find Freds' thread.
i wish schmoopy worked at a apple chinese sweatshop factory.
"an" not "a", faggit. Pwned!
not yet. give it time.
its kind of fun to read (not only here) from all the people who believe they are "off the radar" because they try not to allow fingerprints, retina patterns, and other physical features to be recorded with their knowledge.
for example, everyone with a drivers license in any state, is cataloged and tracked. a fingerprint registry is superfluous since everyone is and has been tracked for decades, at least since WWII.
how is it a civil rights issue?
there really isn't any reasonable expectation of privacy anymore, which sucks. and what sucks most is that no one seems to give a fuck.
i'm thinking if somehow apple is giving biometric data to the nsa. they say it all stays on your phone, but come on.
Froggy quoted the same post twice. Uh oh....
meanwhile, my friend's android stops playing videos if he looks away from it and picks back up when he looks at the screen again. i'm sure that face recognition software is harmless fun, unlike this devious apple fingerprint scanner.
android faigs and their fucking phablets.
