Go here to get it: https://fi.google.com/

The site doesn't make it very clear but it works on any android phone.

    More info:
Plenty of people have heard about Google’s Project Fi, but not many have been lucky enough to test it. That’s because the service requires an invite, and a lot of waiting, to get in. But for the next 24 hours, Google is willing to provide everyone who is interested in the project with an instant invite.

The company announced that it is offering an instant invitation to Project Fi to celebrate the shipment day of Nexus 5X, one of the two flagship smartphones Google unveiled last month. Project Fi supports both of the new Nexus smartphones, as well as last year’s flagship Nexus 6 handset.

For those unaware, Project Fi is Google’s attempt to enter the wireless market in the United States. The low-cost service operates over Wi-Fi networks, but when nearby Wi-Fi coverage is poor, the service taps into Sprint or T-Mobile’s cellular network, depending on which carrier is offering better coverage. The idea is to keep your phone seamlessly connected to the best network available around you.

The project was introduced in April earlier this year. Before the launch of the Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5X, the Nexus 6 was the only smartphone to be supported on the service. Prices start at $20 per month for voice and texts, with additional charges of $10 for each gigabyte of cellular data you use. Unlike many data plans out there, Google only charges you for the data you’ve actually consumed.

Head over to Project Fi’s page and check if your area is eligible for the service. As long as your area is within the service’s coverage, you should be able to sign up.

I want a 5x so bad but I love the camera on my G4 and I hate the sealed batteries and no SD. Especially with marshmallow that can utilize that memory.

Got my invite last week, waiting for my kit to show up. Anyway, the only way to get it on more devices is if more phones are sold unlocked and capable of using CDMA and GSM bands like the Nexus 6, 5x, and 6P do. The Qualcomm modems on post 805 chips are capable of it, manufacturers just kowtow so much to the carriers in this country that the phones don't come with them accessible off the bat.

When will Project Fi support other smartphones?
The Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6 are the first smartphones that supports Project Fi's network of networks. During Project Fi's Early Access Program we plan to only support these devices.
