I'm aware, I built a fully decked out gaming PC for $2200 (i7-7700, 1080ti, etc...) a couple of months ago. It's a great gaming rig, but I make all my $ on my Macs.

The '2-3 years behind' trope is horseshit. Apple's delay w/ OLED came down to binding the OLED sheet with their 3d-touch layer that detects pressure on the display to send to the OS. Android has the hillbilly version of this (just long press). I guarantee when the reviews come in, the X screen will be lauded as much more color accurate than Samsung's version (they just slap it in there and turn it up to 11 like they always do).

Again - it's not about getting there first, it's about making things better.

The resolution is 1125 x 2436, I read when you're playing a video it defaults to not going behind the notch and if you tap the video it goes full screen behind the notch. I'll verify with Xcode simulator and a video.

Intel better get moving or they'll be replaced by Apple's chips in all their devices.

I got my new Note 8 and it's fantastic. I don't really see anything that Iphone can do that it can't. It's the ultimate selfie phone I guess? I hate the fact that they don't give you expandable storage. I've got a 256 GB card in mine that I can swap out for another if I want.

Apple's chips don't have nearly as many instructions as Intel's offerings.

It's clear from the facts below that many, many more people make money from their windows PC than a Mac.
I have several computers for my business and I never even remotely considered purchasing Macs. PCs are far more cost efficient.
This also explains why there's less malware on a Mac. Hackers go where the numbers are.

This is where you Apple fanboys fail everytime.
Few if any consumers outside those of us who live for this shit give one rat's ass about color accuracy.

What the average consumer looks for are new features for their phone that they don't currently have.

Think of everything in the past that Samsung (and Android as a whole in most cases) debuted far ahead of Apple:

    1) Split Screen Multi Tasking
    2) Cameras with flashes
    3) Mobile pay (2 years before Apple Pay)
    4) Phablets
    5) Wireless charging
    6) Predictive typing
    7) Interactive notifications
    8) OTA updates
    9) Widgets
    10) Third Party Keyboards
    11) Optical Image Stabilization
    12) 1080 P Resolution

There's so many more, but why bother? You already know.

What are you arguing here? Of course more people make money from their PC - who said otherwise? You're arguing with yourself here, which is what happens when you run out of facts.

    You're a certified moron. :jj:

I'm sorry your feelings are hurt that someone likes something that you don't.

You're not too bright (or informed).

If you don't think Intel is concerned about ARM chips in general, you're a bigger moron than you're already coming off as.

Maybe spend less time on your insecurities with your mobile platform and read a little about other things.

Is Microsoft cheating on Intel with ARM?
    http://www.zdnet.com/article/intel-x86-emulation-on-windows-arm-is-a-stupid-distraction/

But now, Microsoft wants to make PCs that use Qualcomm chips based on the ARM architecture.

Naturally, Intel is very concerned. While not so much saying that it's ready to hire an expensive divorce lawyer and wants to file for custody, it has indicated that it exercised its legal muscle in the past when its children are threatened -- and will do so again.

Yes, beneath that sexy exterior, Intel architecture is going to die. Maybe not tomorrow, but it has an expiration date. So, Microsoft is doing its own estate planning and is indeed looking out for the children, that being Windows and the PC.

Microsoft should absolutely aggressively develop Windows for the ARM-based PC and ARM-based servers for its Azure data centers. But using x86 emulation is the wrong way to do it.

MS already was working on it during Windows 8. Remember the Surface RT? That thing ran on an ARM chip. The IOT version of Windows 10 can also run on ARM architectures, and it's free to download.

Microsoft is doing pretty cool stuff with Windows 10.

    Howard on 9/11

On today's show Howard told Bill Burr that on 9/11 he, Beth and the dog were so terrified that they rushed, walking through the streets (Howard carrying the dog) to get to a helipad. They made it and took a helicopter from Manhattan to Long Island.

    Seriously? :spit:
Maybe you should go back and re-read your ridiculous posts in this thread.

Hey if you're happy with your Apple products, that's great but don't be all butt hurt that you were embarrassed in this thread through the use of simple factual information.

    Wow!!!
You got schooled so all you're left with is baseless insults.
Sorry I provided all these facts to easily debunk your silly ramblings about your beloved Apple.

Again, take a look back at your ridiculous posts here and you'll see all I did was respond to your nonsense.

I do agree with you on one thing, use what you like.

Interesting article which was a very good read.
However, it details one writer's opinion with few actual facts.

Is there going to be increased competition everywhere in the technology field? No shit.
But Intel will be fine even though you and one writer are prediciting their death.

I feel bad for you now.
You're flailing away looking for anything to support your baseless claims.

I'd say you might want to give up before you look even more foolish.

    Agreed.
Windows 10 is a fairly stable OS, the Surface Laptop looks pretty interesting as well and of course they will continue to look into different architecture.

Especially since the Surface RT was a massive financial failure (for many reasons, BTW), I'd say use of ARM will remain a fringe business for MS for the foreseeable future.

The average consumer is obsessed with "third touch layers" and "color accuracy" vs. all of these.:backlol2:
BTW, would you like me to also provide how much sooner Samsung had all of these features before Apple added them? :owned:
