I'm aware, I built a fully decked out gaming PC for $2200 (i7-7700, 1080ti, etc...) a couple of months ago. It's a great gaming rig, but I make all my $ on my Macs. The '2-3 years behind' trope is horseshit. Apple's delay w/ OLED came down to binding the OLED sheet with their 3d-touch layer that detects pressure on the display to send to the OS. Android has the hillbilly version of this (just long press). I guarantee when the reviews come in, the X screen will be lauded as much more color accurate than Samsung's version (they just slap it in there and turn it up to 11 like they always do). Again - it's not about getting there first, it's about making things better.
