I'm have had it with this damn iPhone. I can barely get 4 hours of battery life and that's just when I'm carrying it around.
Already stopped all push notifications and I've even replaced the battery with a new one. It's an iPhone 4.
    Anybody having the same problems?

I had got an Iphone5 a few months ago and the battery always seemed to be going dead very quickly....I was ready to teach it a lesson with a ballpeen hammer....First i made sure nothing was open in the background....That didn't work...Next, went into settings and put everything on the bare minimum{display brightness, etc}That didn't work....I finally figured out that i had the screen-lock turned off....For whatever reason, once i turned that back on it works like a charm....I carry it around all day and maybe use half a charge as long as i'm not heavy on the 'net

    mine has been pretty good
but every once in awhile it will drain very quickly for no reason
I was told to let it run right down to empty then recharge
    that did the trick

I don't really use my phone for much though-mostly baseball scores and alerts from bleacher report(it's a waste of money for me actually)

This is exactly why iPhone buyers are lemmings.

Anyone who buys a smartphone that does NOT allow the user to change batteries is a sucker.
Motorola Droid Turbo > 48 Hour battery life.

The Mophie power case with extra storage (16-64 GB) is well worth the price

Batteries wear out, genius. If you have a 4, that means the battery is at least 3 years old. Take it to a cell phone repair place and get it replaced and you'll see a huge difference.

Then again... If you're too cheap to even stay two revisions back of current, I'm guessing you won't replace a battery.

At this point Its probably cheaper to go in and upgrade to a 5. Might even be free.

Eh, you're probably right. But I bought an Android device, and the thing was the biggest piece of **%&* I ever used. At least the iPhone does everything it is supposed to do with a minimum amount of know-how on my part. That said> The iPhone's battery life ain't great, but with only a modicum of effort it is possible to change it yourself (I'm no genius, but I swapped mine out with no adverse effects on the phone).

I had to replace my phone a cpl weeks ago. Dropped onto my sneaker then bounced to driveway. 1 tiny crack that took out the touch screen. I got the newest LG and so far the batt life is much better than the old LG's was. Seems to charge faster and has much better wifi range and connection. I can get a full day of talking and radio (not that i use it that much) with no problem.
